Recently celebrating over 25 years in the field of national recruitment, Lorraine brings unrivalled experience, expertise and enthusiasm to the role of Managing Director of Pursuit Recruitment. Setting up the consultancy just over five years ago with a team of two, Lorraine is committed to the positioning of Pursuit as the lead player within the East Anglia area for middle and senior level appointments. Since the firm’s inception the team has grown to number 12, and there are plans to open a Cambridge office in the near future.

A member of the Institute of Directors, Lorraine also gets involved with the local business community as a judge for the Essex County Business Awards. In addition, she is heavily involved in organising charity fundraisers for Macmillan Cancer Support and PARC (Play and Resource Centre).

Lorraine works hard with her team to ensure that they are in tune with her business ethos of providing outstanding customer service based on quality, honesty and fairness. All staff members are encouraged to really get under the skin of the clients' business ensuring they have a full understanding of the available role and its responsibilities. 

Equally, Lorraine ensures candidates’ needs and desires are properly assessed and understood by her well-trained team before suitable positions are sought. Lorraine remains hands-on for the full process of the recruitment journey, overseeing all successful ‘matches’ between companies and candidates.

With a customer-service led approach to business, Lorraine is constantly striving to ensure Pursuit is constantly evolving and providing the best recruitment experience in the Essex region. This approach is exemplified by her implementation of a bespoke software solution which meets the firm's requirements exactly, and provides clients and candidates with the most efficient and accurate service.
